is finished off with dancing in the street in the evening.

local countryside inspecting the burgh boundaries. One young local
man is selected each year to be a cornet and lead the riding of the
marches whilst carrying the burgh standard.
Vintage Car Rally (early Aug)
The Biggar show field is the venue for the annual vintage car rally. An amazing
collection of vintage cars, vans, buses and tractors with enthusiasts coming
from all over the country.
